Over the summer I completed 4 days of work experience at The Great Yorkshire Show which is located in Hornbeam park. I worked there for 8 hours a day over a period of 4 days working behind the scenes of the fashion show with professional models dressing them in stunning designer clothes. My models name was Emily and I really enjoyed this experience and learned many new skills during this time such as organisation, working in a fast paced environment and working as close team. I also met many new people and handled so many amazing pieces.
Very recently, I was invited to take part in the fashion show for The Prince's Trust at Bowcliffe Hall. The designer the models were wearing was Amanda Wakely with certain pieces worth up to £15,000. Over the night there was over £10,000 raised for The Prince's Trust which supports ambitious people aged 13 to 30 to achieve what they want to achieve. I worked with similar professional models however at a highly grand venue as it was very suited to the upper class at the fashion dinner. This time I worked behind the scenes for the show for only one night, as this was a one off dinner for charity. I worked there in a team of people for 8 hours, which was tiring, but also very exciting especially working with so many people and designer garments. My models name was Marli and I got these experiences
through my college and I would love to participate working with professional models, a hair and beauty team, photographers and designer garments again at these venues.
